Conformal Coating and Potting PCBA Service

Outdoor, marine and automotive electronics fail at the surface long before the circuit does. This service adds a controlled conformal coating or full potting layer to a finished PCBA so the board resists moisture, salt spray, dust and thermal cycling, reaching IP65 to IP67 depending on the enclosure and material chosen.

Process options

What we control

• Masking of connectors, LEDs, relays, pressure sensors and test pads before coating
• UV tracer added so coverage can be inspected under black light
• Coating thickness measured on coupons from each batch
• Adhesion and cross-cut test per IPC-CC-830 where requested
• Degassing and vacuum potting to remove voids in high voltage modules
